William H. Huffman

William H. Huffman William H. Huffman received his B.B.A., majoring in accounting, in 1977 from the University of Oklahoma and a J.D. from the University of Tulsa in 1982 where he received the American Jurisprudence Award in Evidence. He served as a staff accountant for Seidman and Seidman from 1977 to 1979 and as a Trial Examiner for the Oklahoma Corporation Commission from 1982 to 1984. Mr. Huffman concentrates his practice in Corporate, Energy, Administrative Law (including Oklahoma Corporation Commission), environmental litigation and oil and gas litigation. In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Huffman has been appointed by successive Oklahoma Governors to the Interstate Oil and Gas Compact Commission as a member of the Legal and Regulatory Affairs Committee. Mr. Huffman is an adjunct professor at the University of Tulsa, previously teaching Oil & Gas and Environmental Law. Mr. Huffman’s cited cases include French Petroleum Corporation v. Corporation Commission of Oklahoma, 805 P.2d 650 (Okl. 1990); Forest Oil Corporation v. Corporation Commission of Oklahoma, 807 P.2d 774 (Okl. 1990); New Dominion L.L.C. v. Mason, 2009 CIV APP 16, 217 P.3d 138; NBI v. Corporation Commission of Oklahoma, 2010 OK CIV APP 86, 241 P.3d 685; Hoover, et al. v. Boone, 2012 OK CIV APP 39, 274 P.3d 815. Mr. Huffman is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Texas Bar Association (inactive) and American Bar Association.
